Today, we're launching Default’s new product and announcing our Series A led by 8VC, with participation from Craft and Jack Altman, bringing us to $20m in total funding.
Over the last 2.5 years, our team has had the honor of supporting and serving hundreds of the fastest-growing companies like Perplexity, Owner, Cortex, and many more. We’ve worked with revenue teams of all shapes, sizes, and stages of growth and have spent hundreds of thousands of hours collectively thinking about and solving our customers’ hardest go-to-market challenges across sales, operations, and marketing.
Our first product – a platform built primarily for top-of-funnel and inbound orchestration – was powerful. We deployed it countless times across hundreds of companies, and–as customers grew–became the connected infrastructure for enabling interoperability between GTM systems.
In the last 18 months, however, something changed. Teams stopped looking to their tools to solve their growth and scaling challenges, and started looking to their data foundations, systems architecture, and more recently – their agents.
Last year, fresh off of our Series A, we realized that this is where the future of go-to-market was headed: interoperability between teams, their tools, their data, and their agents. Go-to-market teams have never needed tools less than they do today. But the need–and demand–for more data, intelligence, and infrastructure for go-to-market has never been higher.
What we’ve heard from customers over the last few months has been consistent. Every team is trying to build or buy agents with limited success and the same bottlenecks: their systems and data are nowhere near ready for them. Nobody wants to admit it.
Over the last several months, we’ve built a new product to close the gap between AI agents and go-to-market execution.
Today, we’re launching our new platform:
- A real-time data layer for go-to-market. Connect go-to-market systems like your CRM and marketing automation platform and Default will sync, enrich, and unify records into our revenue data warehouse, where agents can use this unified context to execute even the most complex tactical and strategic go-to-market work.
- A powerful new revenue agent, Dot. Dot plans complex work, executes lightning-fast queries, and–most importantly–speaks the same language as your team and tools. What makes Dot different than most go-to-market agents is the underlying infrastructure: a unified data layer, native tools like routing and workflows, and integrations with the systems revenue teams use every day.
- A new set of stateful tools for teams and agents. We’ve built a new, powerful suite of go-to-market tools: waterfall enrichment, meeting scheduling, routing & assignment, and workflow orchestration, built for teams and their agents and native to Default’s new, unified data layer.
With the launch of our new platform and unified data layer for go-to-market, teams can finally deploy powerful revenue agents to production across their entire team.
